The PUMA X-Power Air Conditioning System is a high-performance AC-only solution for Defender owners who need additional cooling capacity, particularly in hot climates or vehicles where a separate heater is already installed.

Offering up to 40% more cooling capacity, the compact system is designed to provide stronger air conditioning without taking up valuable interior space. The HVAC unit mounts discreetly in the engine bay and uses a powerful three-speed 319 CFM centrifugal blower to deliver improved airflow to the cabin while helping reduce interior noise.

The system includes a complete AC setup with a 14,100 BTU evaporator unit, compressor, condenser, hoses, fittings, controls, and electrical components. An adjustable thermostat allows the system to be adjusted for different operating conditions.

Installation Requirements

Some pipe fittings require crimping during installation, so a suitable AC hose crimping tool is required.

For TD5 Defenders, some installations may require an additional extender grille because of limited space available for the condenser.

The system is custom made and has an approximate 10-day build lead time.

Dashboard control panels and lower dash vents are supplied in black as standard. Alternative colors are available, including cream, blue, red, yellow, white, orange, and forest green. Contact the sales team for alternative color options.
