Mantec Spare Wheel Carrier for 2020-on Defender
The Mantec spare wheel carrier features a unique patented piston and piston housing allowing the swinging action of the back door to work through the attached spare wheel carrier. All the weight of the spare wheel is taken off the back door by the spare wheel carrier which is mounted at the waist and onto the chassis.
Passengers in the rear can exit safely as the door works normally.
It is important you make sure the back door of the Defender has not been modified or changed. Mantec’s wheel carrier fits Series 3, Defender 90 and Defender110 models. Steel or alloy wheel rims. If in doubt, please check with your supplier before purchasing.

Mantec’s swing away carrier fits Defender 90 and 110 models with standard steel or alloy rims.
NOTE:- If your Defender has never had a factory spare wheel carrier on the rear door or your factory carrier does NOT have removable spacers and your vehicle is fitted with alloy wheels, you will require 3 additional spacers to fit the alloy spare wheel to the swing away carrier.
