Mantec’s well known PLASTIC JOBBY (TM) was first launched in 2007. A 2 piece, stylish air intake designed for the discerning Defender owner who fancies a change from the classic style.

A tough and stylish raised air intake with years of design and testing under its belt. There’s much more to it than simply making a raised air intake that fits. This raised air intake is manufactured to the highest standards in durable, UV stable, flexi lite material does not split or crack. The Mantec’s raised air intake delivers a continuous and cooler supply of air for maximum engine performance. It is positively sealed as well to ensure the best protection against deep water crossings and dust.

Mantec’s classic design from the Camel Trophy and Tomb Raider era is reinvented in polyurethane material to meet our customers’ increasing demand for a different choice of material.

The three-piece design fits to the vehicle using the existing vent on the right or left-hand side of the vehicle. This design can also be used with some external roll cages (please contact MANTEC customer service for advice). To fit vehicles with 200tdi, 300tdi, TD, TD5, 2.4, 2.2 puma and Normally aspirated diesel engines.
